Background: In early 2024, a small European telecommunication company started a 5G-A base station expansion project covering 3 mountainous areas. They needed RF connectors that could work at 30GHz (for basic 5G-A data transmission) and handle occasional low temperatures (down to -15℃). The connectors also needed to be a bit smaller to fit their compact base station equipment, and they hoped to follow basic IEC standards.

Our Service Process:
Demand communication(Weeks 1-2): We talked with their technical staff via 2 online meetings to clarify their needs—like how the connector would be installed and what temperature range it needed to handle. We also shared our past experience with similar small-scale telecom projects to let them know we understood their situation.
Prototype & Testing(Weeks 3-4): Our small R&D team adjusted an existing connector design to make it 10% smaller and used a slightly more corrosion-resistant alloy for the shell. We made 5 prototypes in 2 weeks and sent them with a simple test report (covering basic signal stability and low-temperature performance).
Tweaks & Production(Weeks 5-7): They told us the prototype’s locking part was a bit hard to use, so our engineer revised it in 4 days to make installation easier. We then started small-batch production—only 1,200 units, which matched their initial needs. We checked each batch briefly to make sure they met the agreed standards.
Delivery & Basic Support(Week 8): We delivered the connectors 2 days on time (no early delivery, just as planned). We also sent a short guide on how to install them in cold weather, and answered their follow-up questions via email within 1-2 workdays.
Client Feedback: “Huaxing was easy to work with—they listened to our small requests and adjusted the design quickly. The connectors work well in our mountain areas so far, and their after-sales replies were timely. For a small company like us, this kind of straightforward cooperation is exactly what we need.” —— Tom, Technical Staff of the European Telecom Firm
